What is the time commitment for the program?

The MyVIEW Cardiac Wellness Program requires an overall time commitment of 6-months. On a weekly basis, a patient can expect to commit an average of 30 to 60 minutes to the program.

Can I start any at anytime, or is there continuous enrolment?

The MyVIEW Cardiac Wellness Program enrolment starts on the first of every month.

If you enrol in The MyVIEW Cardiac Wellness Program between the 1st or 28th of any month, your program will start the following month.

If you purchase The MyVIEW Cardiac Wellness Program on or after the 28th of any given month, your program will start on the 1st of the month after 2 consecutive months from your purchase date.

For example, if you sign up on January 1st, your program will start February 1st. If you sign up January 19th, your program will start February 1st. If you sign up January 28th, your program will start March 1st.

We do not offer any refunds to our customers for the cancellation of your 6-month enrolment commitment. Please contact an administrator at wellness@my-view.ca for contract details.

Are there options for session times?

When there is a group coaching week, you will be asked to attend the group coaching session for 1 hour.

At this time, there will only be a specific time and date that can be attending by Zoom; there will be no other options for time. If you happen to miss your class, a taping of the class will be provided to you.

How many health experts are involved in the live coaching portion of the program?

There will be anywhere from 1 to 3 experts on the live group coaching weeks of the program. The number of experts depends on the topics being presented.

Can I see the other participants in the live coaching sessions?

As per the consent agreed upon at registration, you will be attending live group coaching sessions with other participants.

You will be able to see and also be seen during your live group coaching sessions if you wish; if you do not wish to be seen, you WILL be able to turn off your camera.

Do I get an agenda of the weekly program ahead of time?

At the beginning of every week, you will be sent the weekly agenda. You will not receive the 24 weeks of program agenda in advance due to strong research in wellness coaching strategy.

Should you have any questions about a certain topic in advance, your Program Concierge is more than happy to send you content to address your questions or needs.

What do I do if I miss a program? Can I do a make up?

This depends upon which week you miss and what is taking place that week. Your Program Concierge will help you with any missed classes, questions or concerns.

How does the peer support portion of the program work?

Your Program Concierge will provide you with a link to your class with the option to interact with your class members, share experiences, ask questions, show support and cheer them on!

Do participants get one on one support?

Currently, all programming takes place through either live group coaching and/or self-directed education modules.

The program is tailored to your needs through behavioural wellness coaching techniques, education and the live group coaching component.

If extra care at this time is needed for 1:1 coaching, this will be available but at an additional cost. Programming will be coming out in the next 6-12 months with the option of 1:1 support.

How can the program be tailored to my unique needs?

The Program content is well designed to be balanced across all general cardiac wellness needs. The tailoring is done specifically by the Program Concierge who is there to help address other areas of health and education that may need more attention in your specific case.

The Program Concierge is always available by direct message to answer all questions and concerns.

Do you offer any in person programs?

We currently do not offer any programs in person, but we are very happy to help you find a program that suits your needs more appropriately in your area.

My biggest issue is stress. Can I take sessions that only focus on mental health?

We currently have the MyVIEW Mindfulness Program that is well suited to focusing more on stress and mental health. Our staff is available to discuss your specific needs to help you find the right fit for your care.

We also do offer other 1:1 mental health services at an additional cost.

Is there any motivational support or check-ins?

YES! Our Program Concierge is available by direct message for additional support and check-ins.

What if I realize that the program isn’t for me after one session? Can I get a refund?

Due to how important all stages of the program are for overall health and wellness behavioural change, we do not offer any refunds to our customers for the cancellation of your 6-month enrolment commitment.

Some circumstances may qualify for re-imbursement but are taken by individual case assessment. Please contact an administrator for contract details.

How does my loved one participate in the program?

Your loved one can sign up to participant right along with you for your 6 months directly, or can just be added to your circle of care where they will receive updates about your progress.

There is no charge to participant as a loved one.
